1) HUGO CHAVEZ WINS WITH MASSIVE VOTE IN VENEZUELA'S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
Hugo Chávez has been re-elected as president of Venezuela, receiving 63% of the vote - and winning a million more votes than at the recall referendum in 2004.

Colin Burgon MP and Jeremy Corbyn MP have put down Early Day Motions in Parliament in solidarity with Venezuela following President Chavez's landslide re-election.
Venezuela Information Centre encourages you to write to your MP asking them to add their name.
