Gerald Kaufman MP is a bit of a hero on the quiet

Sir Gerald Kaufman said the Israeli government was 'ruthlessly and cynically' exploiting the guilt over the Holocaust as justification for the assault on Gaza.

'My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town... a German soldier shot her dead in her bed,' he told MPs.

'My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza.'

Always thought of Gerald Kaufman as a right wing MP in a right wing party but he has made some loud calls for peace and justice, this meeting put together by the Jewish Socialist Group looks excellent, Gerry is looking good for some one over the age of 77

After the War on Gaza: What next for the Palestinians? And how can Jews in Britain and in Israel help bring about a just peace?

Why should I worry about the east, I don't need this MP to do the job for them.
To many Jews and Muslims in our P that try to push us into this mess.
